EICRs - Testing and Certificates

Our EICR Coverage generally includes:

- Sheffield to include Chesterfield, Dronfield, Rotherham, Hathersage, Hope Valley, etc

- Leeds to include Otley, Wetherby, Garforth, Wakefield, Batley, etc

- Manchester* to include Stockport, Oldham, Altrincham, Rochdale, etc

- Other Cities* to Include Nottingham, Derby, Stoke-on-Trent, Doncaster, Huddersfield, etc

*May incur an additional Travel Fee depending on exact size and nature of job, number of hours and distance. We will discuss this with you upon enquiring.

Our Electrical Inspections (EICRs) consist of:

1. Checking out all wiring thoroughly

2. Ensuring WiFi never goes off (We use a Battery Unit)

3. Checking items Visually around the house

4. Explaining the overall Result to you and explaining any issues

5. Sending the Report to you straight away from our cool testing App

6. Quoting for any issues or recommendations found, with no obligation

We use the correct coding of findings and DO NOT use scare tactics to get work that is not really needed! Many of the cheaper or inexperienced "Electricians" have been found to do this!

We make sure that you are super safe and will find all issues, but there is no pressure from us to fix them. However if something is dangerous (C1 coded) then we will highly recommend that is dealt with as soon as possible (by us or anyone else!).

If we carry out any repairs then we also automatically give you the updated EICR afterwards FREE OF CHARGE

The pricing is simply down to How Many Circuits are to be tested.

The number of circuits typically is the number of fuses or breakers that are in use.

Here's 3 ways to determine the number of circuits:

1. Count the total number of fuses or breakers in use on your Fuseboard(s)

2. Take a photo of the Fuseboard(s) and we will confirm this for you

3. Send us any Certificate you have for the Fuseboard (EICR or Installation Certificate) and we will confirm this for you:

Price is £28+VAT per circuit.

Discount of £25+VAT applies if PAT Testing is also added, or if there are more than one EICRs to carry out on the same day in nearby area (Such as Landlord Properties).

Minimum Charge is:

Domestic: 8 Circuits

Commercial: 10 Circuits

Industrial: 10 Circuits

Example:

8 Circuits (or less) £224+VAT

9 Circuits £252+VAT

10 Circuits £280+VAT

and so on (We can confirm this at the start of the job if we haven't already checked a photo or previous certificate)

3 Phase Distribution Boards Yes! We do those too, as we have a vast Commercial and Industrial experience (From Car Industry, Semiconductors and more).

Often we have available slots in a day or two (unless it's a really busy time of year!)

We are very aware that a lot of people work from home now.

So we invested in a Battery Power unit that is used to plug in your Router, so that you can use the WiFi uninterrupted for up to 17 hours (Not that you'll need that long!)

So rest assured that there will be No Interruption to your Wifi no matter what we are doing.

We have deliberately put plenty of ways to Contact Us in place (See lower down!) as we don't want anyone struggling to get a price, answer, or to get booked in!

This is also because during the day when busy, we might not answer immediately!
(Although we do also have a BACKUP AI Agent, Kora - who you can choose to use - who is amazingly good and accurate according to our past customers!)

WHO HANDLES THE CALLS AND MESSAGES?

Simon - If around (often I have a rubbish signal or am busy on jobs!) but I catch up often in between jobs or on my coffee/lunch break.

Steph - (Simon's Partner) who works Part time (around her main job), but is fully trained in all Services (has even attended several jobs). Steph also checks during breaks if she's busy herself.

AI Agent (Kora) - Kora kicks in only when Simon and Steph are unavailable! Please do not fear her! She is also trained with all the knowledge of our prices, services, FAQ Questions and is super nice and friendly. She'll also pass to us if it's an emergency, or just take the details so that we can get back to you well informed, or even able to send a Quote without further need for information (Yes! She really can do it all - and has done for 100's of happy customers already that love Kora!).
